God is King

Good Morning! Our God is the sovereign of His creation!

And when they heard it, they lifted their voices together to God and said, “Sovereign Lord, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them…And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness” Acts 4:24, 29

Just looking at the headlines today, I am fearful for the direction our country is taking. It seems that lawlessness is not only being permitted, but encouraged. The aftermath of the Ferguson MO situation makes no sense to me and I am concerned about what advantage may be taken of the situation by our governing authorities. It seems there is much to fear.

I need to be reminded that God is in control! I need to remember that God is Sovereign. He will take care of this. My responsibility is to speak boldly about His Word.

I am still not sure I want to see what is coming, but “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” Php. 4:13

God truly is sovereign, not only in my life and the lives of all Christians, but is also sovereign over all of His creation. He is paying attention. I need to trust Him!!
