The Adversary

Good Morning! We have an adversary.

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” 1 Peter 5:6-8

He has many people out there who are working with him. There are numerous folks who unwittingly support the devil and his efforts. Organizations, individuals and anyone who opposes the truth of God’s word will try to get us to be quiet about our faith. Anyone can be a representative of the adversary. We cannot give in to their demands.

Jesus said, “So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.” Matt. 10:32-33

Hang in there and God will take of you… and your adversary, in due time!

“Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.” 1 Peter 5:9-10
