Knowledge… or the lack thereof!

Good Morning!

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.” Hosea 4:6

This is a very scary thought to consider. That God might reject us because we reject the knowledge He has revealed in His Word is almost unthinkable. I have heard most of my life that ignorance is no excuse. I thought that applied to the laws of our land, but apparently it also applies to God’s law! Imagine that!!

Because God requires us to “know” his Word, we need to spend time with our Bibles to learn what God says (knowledge). Otherwise, we will lose not only ourselves, but our children as well! You can’t share what you don’t have!

Just think about it.
