Good Morning!
I have been thinking on several different things going on around me today. A situation of which I am aware, where a husband and wife are not communicating clearly and affecting the whole family (this applies to many different families). Another announcement by a very public figure that he is homosexual and proud of it. And again, the questions about the rapture, tribulation and end times.
“Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight.” Rom. 12:16
Being wise in our own sight is a pit we all fall into at times. Thinking we know how things should be in our relationships based on our own understanding. The assertion in contradiction to Scripture that perversion is a “gift” from God. And trying to tell God how He is going to do things instead of just listening to His Word.
The problem comes when we decide that our thinking or wisdom is better than God’s. We all want to be right and most of us believe that we truly understand things, but we need to double check with the One who is always right!
Being right is not having God on your side, but rather when you decide to be on His! God bless and stop thinking more of yourself than you ought and be a fool for God today!
God Bless!!
