The Gospel

Good Morning! The Gospel of Jesus Christ

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, ‘the righteous shall live by faith.'” Rom. 1:16-17

It is a simple message of salvation from sin through the death, burial and resurrection of God’s Son in human flesh. When we obey this gospel (2 Thess. 1:8), we find that forgiveness and a clear conscience (1 Pt. 3:21). He became one of us so that we might be forgiven and share in His perfection and divinity (2 Pt.1:4).

Believe. Repent. Confess. Be baptized. Live faithfully, even unto death.

The Gospel. Simple but oh so profound.

Do you know this gospel? Have you obeyed this gospel? Are you living this gospel faithfully?

I hope and pray that you are. If not, read your Bible, the Gospel is in it. Find a faithful Christian who will help you obey that Gospel and continue to live it. Then God will keep His promise to save you through the blood of His Son.
